Simple Present Continuous — Positive

When do we use it?

Describing what is happening right now, at this very moment.

Talking about a temporary situation — something that is in progress but won't last forever.

Describing something happening around this period, even if not at this exact second.

Look! The cat is sitting on my laptop.

I'm learning English these days — a little bit every day.

She's staying with her aunt this week.

How can we apply it?

Present Continuous is built from 3 elements:

Subject + am / is / are + Verb-ing

The am / is / are part changes depending on the subject.

The Verb-ing stays the same pattern — just add -ing to the verb.

⚠️ Spelling rules for -ing:
